About Us

Shine On was formed in honor of Tim Guinan, a 25 year Greenwood Police officer and a veteran of the Gulf War who served in the Army with the 101st Airborne Division. Tim loved to serve his community and his country. He was an assistant scout master for his son’s Boy Scout troop and proudly helped to form Troop 222. Shine On looks forward to helping Tim’s legacy live on by providing scholarships to first responders and veterans high school seniors entering college or a trade school as well as helping Boy Scouts attend camp and completing Eagle Scout projects.
